Studio Sky, LLC
studioSky was founded July 1, 2012 in Florida with Eric Moser, Julia Sanford, and Steve Mouzon as the managing principals. studioSky is a multidisciplinary firm that designs each building, its interiors, and the outdoor rooms surrounding it as a sustainable whole, and in ways that contribute to the sustainability of the surrounding neighborhood.
Eric, Julia, and Steve are each members of the Board of Directors of the Sky Institute for the Future, which is a nonprofit focused on research, education and sustainable architectural prototypes. studioSky is a for-profit design firm that implements the ideals of the Institute.
Some of those ideals, such as Project:SmartDwelling and the Transect, were developed either in conjunction with others or primarily by others while Caribbean Rim Architecture, the Original Green, Evolution Cottages, Reconnection Cottages, Walk Appeal, and the Sky Method were developed primarily by Eric, Julia, or Steve.
